Our city's FIRST and ONLY on-site Data Management programWho needs San Diego Data?If you use a Windows Based PC, you need to know a couple of things. Yes, the Operating System is good. Some may argue that there's a few better ones out there and I am not here to dispute that. One thing however, that Microsoft Windows is though, is common. It is the most common operating system on the Planet, like it or not. For all it's benefits and features, though, this is a system that does crash. When it does crash you will wish that your Data was readily available. That is the service we provide. There are many MANY reasons for a computer to fail or crash but software is just one. Remember that a computer is a box full of motors that spin, things that get hot, and parts in motion. Even the main board wears out, simply through the process of expansion and contraction as a computer is turned on, turned off, and this cycle gets repeated daily. Whatever actually DOES cause the computer failure is irrelevent. The bottom line is that if/when it does happen, your Data may need to be reloaded into the machine. This is not a big deal, assuming that the Data is there to use. What happens when there is a failure, and your Quickbooks Database has not been backed up? You would need of course to find all the hard copy of each transaction and pay somebody to re-enter the Data. This of course, after you have paid your Accountant to set up all of the individual requirements of your business within the database. My goal here is not to alarm or scare you. Rather, just to impress upon you what we have all been learning for many years of computer use: That a Data Backup is not an option. It is an absolute necessity.
